Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today announced the release of the demo for Pro Evolution Soccer 2013. Free to download and play, it’s available for XBox 360 via XBox LIVE and PlayStation 3 via PSN.
And to support the demo’s launch, Konami has released some new assets which include new gameplay footage, and a trailer with PES 2013 cover athlete, Cristiano Ronaldo.
PES 2013 boasts new game mechanics such as PES FullControl enabling complete control over every action, Pro-Active AI that ensures players move on and off the ball more realistically and Player ID that seemingly transplants the real life athlete into the virtual battlefield of kicking.
The demo features access to eight fully licensed teams, including Germany, England, Portugal, Italy, Santos FC, SC International, Fluminense and Flamengo.
Look forward to the full game this Fall. Will it be enough to compete with EA’s FIFA juggernaut? Time will tell.
