During Xbox Games Showcase 2023, Capcom has unveiled a new fantastical action game titled Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. Check out the trailer below.
The trailer indicates that the game is quite heavily inspired by traditional Japanese aesthetics. Unfortunately, the trailer didn’t reveal too many details, aside from the fact that it will involve taking on demons in some form, and that the game will feature a rather fantastical art style.
Among the weapons shown off in the trailer were the classical katana, as well as ranged options in the form of a bow. The game also seems to revolve around keeping a woman safe as you cleanse the lands around you from their demonic infestations.
The trailer’s description indicates that Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess will feature a clash between mortals and the spirit realm. There are also hints of allies being present in various fights in the game.
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is slated for release on Xbox Series X/S. The game is also slated to come to Xbox Game Pass when it launches, but unfortunately, Capcom hasn’t yet announced a release date for the game. That said, we might be seeing more of it at the upcoming Capcom Showcase.
