LA Noire becomes UK’s ‘fastest-selling new game IP ever’

LA Noire has become the UK’s fastest-selling new video game IP ever, according to retail monitor GfK Char-Track.

No sales figures were released, but the new crime thriller is supposedly selling on a par with last year’s Red Dead Redemption.

The game is topping both platform charts at the moment and is the 13th fastest-selling Xbox 360 game in the UK and the 11th fastest on PS3.

For those who’ve had the pleasure of playing it, you’ll know that it deserves all the success it gets.
