Boss Key Productions’ LawBreakers is available for PS4 and PC, having garnered above average to good reviews thus far. While the overall player base on Steam may have been low, the arena/hero shooter will be receiving even more content down the line.
This is according to studio co-founder Cliff Bleszinski in conversation with Eurogamer. Bleszinski noted that a tenth character was currently being tested and already “fully playable”. He also said that, “We see this game as a marathon and not a sprint.”
As for maps, players can look forward to two more that are “99 percent ready to go”. New game types couldn’t really be discussed but new skins would be on their way in the next few months. Bleszinski did note that post-launch support for the game was a result of the current state of the world. “It’s no longer fire and forget,” Bleszinski stated.
You can check out our LawBreakers review here where we also pointed out the need for more content like maps and differentiating game modes. LawBreakers’ user reviews on Steam are fairly positive thus far though total players at launch weren’t exactly encouraging. At least Boss Key has been working to alleviate issues like stuttering in the PS4 version.
