League of Legends 2015 World Championship Starts October 1st

The group stages will begin in Paris, with the finals concluding in Germany.

Riot Games has announced that the 2015 World Championship for its free to play MOBA League of Legends 2015 will begin in October. The tournament will start in Paris and eventually conclude in Germany.

There will be four stages in the tournament, starting with the group stages on October 1st to 4th and October 8th to 11th in Le Dock Pullman, Paris. From there, players will progress to the quarter finals in SSE Arena Wembley, London on October 15th to 18th and then the semi finals on October 24th to 25th in the Brussels Expo. The finals for the World Championship will be held in the Mercedes-Benz Arena located in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

League of Legends is perhaps the most popular free to play MOBA out there right now, with 27 million daily players and 67 million players monthly as of January 2014. Stay tuned for more information on the League of Legends 2015 World Championship in the coming months.
