LEGO 2K Drive

2K Games and Visual Concepts have officially announced LEGO 2K Drive for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch. It’s a triple-A, open-world “driving adventure game,” with pre-orders now live. Pre-orders get the Aquadirt Racer Pack, with a street car, off-road car and Racer Boat.

The “story” is about obtaining the Sky Trophy, with a villain named Shadow Zero and a mentor, Clutch Racington, involved. Boasting single-player and multiplayer modes, LEGO 2K Drive offers various biomes, collectibles, mini-games and races.

There’s a customization system for building vehicles from more than 1,000 LEGO pieces and cars from LEGO City, LEGO Creator and LEGO Speed Champions. You can even drive the McLaren Solus GT and F1 LM. In multiplayer, there are co-op and competitive modes for up to six players. Split-screen multiplayer is supported for two players.

The Standard Edition retails for $69.99 on current-gen consoles and $59.99 on previous-gen consoles, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The Awesome Edition costs $99.99 and features the Year 1 Drive Pass, a new vehicle, an in-game mini-figurine and vehicle flair. You can also get the Awesome Rivals Edition for $119.99 with the Year 1 Drive Pass, several vehicles, in-game mini-figurines and a vehicle flair.

The Year 1 Drive Pass adds a new biome and four post-launch seasons of Drive Pass content, like new vehicles and themes. These can be purchased a la carte as well, though. Stay tuned for more details on LEGO 2K Drive in the coming weeks.
