LEGO The Hobbit Announced for Current and Next Gen Platforms

LEGO The Hobbit
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and TT Games have announced the next in its series of LEGO game with LEGO The Hobbit, which is based off of the popular movie trilogy. It will be focusing on the first two films – An Unexpected Journey and Desolation of Smaug -in the trilogy, so yes, there will indeed be a dragon to see. You’ll be embarking on quests with Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf the Grey and Thorin Oakenshield among other iconic characters.

TT Games Managing Director Tom Stone stated that, “We are thrilled to depict the characters and environments of Peter Jackson’s Middle-earth in LEGO form with the LEGO The Hobbit videogame. Our family-friendly take on these thrilling adventures will have kids and parents playing and laughing together as they build and explore in LEGO Middle-earth.”

LEGO The Hobbit will be out in 2014 for the Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and Xbox One. It will also release on 3DS, Wii U, PC and Mac.
