There’s been no shortage of reasons why Lies of P has generated as much buzz before its launch as it has, and one among them that has turned more than a few heads is its dark and gothic rendition of the world of Pinocchio. That’s been on full display in all that we’ve seen so far, and in newly released gameplay for the Bloodborne-inspired Soulslike action RPG, that continues to be the case.
Neowiz has revealed seven new minutes of gameplay for Lies of P, focused almost entirely on one location- Lorenzini Arcade, which was once one of the finest hubs of entertainment in the city of Krat, but has now fallen into horrific disrepair as the city itself has decayed. In addition to showing the insides of the arcade itself, the gameplay footage also showcases plenty of horrifying new enemy types, a variety of different weapons, and of course, quite a bit of combat. Check it out below.
Lies of P launches on September 19 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. A demo is currently available on Steam, but will be taken offline on September 5.
