Lies Of P has a number of items and materials that are crucial to character progression. This Lies Of P guide will show you how to efficiently farm two of them–Star Fragments and Ergo.

Star Fragments

Star Fragments are a material in Lies Of P, with which you can summon a specter that will assist you in boss fights, beginning with the third one–Scrapped Watchman. This is especially useful in drawing aggro away from you, so that you can get your hits in uninterrupted.

Ergo

Ergo is both XP and currency, in that you use it to level up as well as buy and upgrade your weapons. Ergo drops on enemy kills, and can also be found in the form of shards or crystals.

How To Farm Star Fragments And Ergo

Since both these items are drops from kills, your best bet to farm it is a good clean run that you can then rinse and repeat with the Stargazer. One good early location is the Workshop Union Entrance. This area conveniently unlocks right after defeating Scrapped Watchman, the third boss.

After acquiring the key from Geppetto, proceed through the gate to arrive at the first Stargazer. Inside the door are two mannequins you can eliminate for 115 Ergo each and any drops they may grant. Make your way back outside to the Stargazer, then head right and around the corner to the alley with the two mannequins lying in ambush, and the larger puppet whaling on a corpse.

Dispatch the mannequins first to get them out of the way, for 115 Ergo a piece once again, then quickly stagger and terminate the big enemy, for another 353 Ergo. It will also drop a Star Fragment every single run. Either of the mannequins can drop Ergo Fragments, Sawtoothed Wheels, Hidden Moonstones, and Legion Magazines, among other things, which you can consume or sell for Ergo. Moreover, after you have accumulated a certain number of Star Fragments, you can sell the excess off as well for additional Ergo. Sprint or teleport back to the Stargazer and do it all over again.

The entire operation takes under a minute to complete, start to finish for a guaranteed 813 Ergo per run, plus the value of lootables. If you have the P-Organ Phase 1 upgrade “Increases Ergo upon eliminating an enemy 1”, listed under the Item Type tab, it will grant you a 10% bonus each time you earn Ergo.

That is the easiest farm for both Star Fragments and Ergo in Lies of P.
