Life is Strange 2

Out of nowhere, Dontnod Entertainment has announced that Life is Strange 2 Episode 1 will be releasing on September 27th. A short teaser was provided wherein the game’s title was slowly stitched onto a backpack. Like the first season, Life is Strange 2 will have five episodes. Not much information was provided aside from this.

The developer did note (via the YouTube video’s description) that more information would be revealed in August. That’s right around the time of Gamescom 2018 so we could receive a proper trailer. Regardless, we only know that Life is Strange 2 will have a new cast and new stories to tell. Furthermore, the upcoming standalone title The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit will contain clues about it.

Captain Spirit arrives on June 26th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. It will be completely free for everyone and follows the tail of a young boy with a big imagination. How it ties into Life is Strange 2 remains to be seen. Regardless, it’s pretty impressive that the next season is debuting within this year itself.
