Life is Strange Before the Storm

Square Enix has shared more details on Life Is Strange: Before the Storm, the three episode prequel series to Dontnod’s hit Life Is Strange that will be debuting this August. The series will focus on the friendship between Chloe and Rachel before the events of the first game. Ashly Burch will not be voicing Chloe anymore; instead, we’ve got Rhianna DeVries will be voicing Chloe.

There will be no rewind mechanic, so you will be forced to commit to your dialog choices. “Chloe’s sharp tongue will require her to live with whatever she says and as before, every single action and choice will have a direct consequence in the short, mid and long term,” Toby Palm of Square Enix said.

Max, the protagonist of the original series, will be playable in a bonus episode, too. All in all, it sounds like fans are in for a treat. Life Is Strange: Before The Storm will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC this August.
