Life is Strange Double Exposure - Final Fantasy 7 Outfit Pack_02

Supernatural powers and character-driven storytelling are always at the core of Life is Strange games, and all of that is very much going to take centerstage in the upcoming Life is Strange: Double Exposure as well. With the return of protagonist Max Caulfield, however, the game is also bringing a murder mystery across two different timelines, and to shed more light on that particular aspect, Square Enix has released a new trailer.

Life is Strange: Double Exposure’s Max is roughly a decade older than she was in the first game, but her time manipulation powers will once again be crucial to the story. When her best friend Safi is murdered, an attempt to reverse the incident sees Max stumbling upon a new ability that allows her to hop to an alternate timeline. Now, hopping between two timelines, it is up to her to solve the mystery of Safi’s death and prevent it from happening in the second timeline. Check out the trailer below for more details.

Life is Strange: Double Exposure launches on October 29 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, though those who purchased its Ultimate Edition will get access to its first two chapters on October 15.
