Limbo

Playdead’s classic platformer Limbo is heading to the Xbox One and the developer has announced the resolution and frame rate for the game.

“On Friday, December 5th, Limbo will be released on Xbox One at $9.99 or equivalent. While we are completely absorbed by Inside, Double Eleven has once again helped us port the game and done a fantastic job, as it now runs 1080p at 60fps.”

Limbo is best known for its black and white art style along with its noir-like story and tone. It’s been released on Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Mac OS X, SteamOS, PlayStation Vita, iOS and OnLive, and it’s been a huge commercial and critical success. The Xbox One version will be a definite bonus especially at 1080p resolution and 60 FPS.

Will you be picking up Limbo on the Xbox One when it releases this Friday? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned for more information.
