A new IP from a new studio is always an exciting prospect, and one that has caught the eye is Liquid Swords’ upcoming debut project. Founded by former Avalanche Studios COO and co-founder Christofer Sundberg, the independent Swedish studio has been at work on an open world title, and recently, offered another glimpse at it.

Taking to Twitter, the developer showcase two new screenshots from its upcoming open world title, showcasing its contemporary city setting, and boasting impressive visual fidelity and detail. Liquid Swords has previously confirmed that it is using Unreal Engine 5 to build its game, and the engine certainly seems to be helping the studio craft a visually impressive open world. You can view the screenshots below.

Details on Liquid Swords’ debut title are otherwise scant, with the studio having said little else about it, other than describing it as a narrative-driven game. When the game will be fully unveiled remains to be seen, but the little that has been shown of it so far certainly looks interesting.
