Posted By | On 24th, Jul. 2010

The sequel to Sony’s runaway platformer hit, LittleBigPlanet, the first in Sony’s line of ‘Play, Create, Share’ titles, has been announced for release later this year. November 16th, to be precise.

A special collector’s edition, priced at $79.99, will also debut the very same day. The special edition will include a plush Sackboy toy, LittleBigPlanet 2 ‘game ends,’  and eleven in game costumes.

For those who preorder, there will be special in game goodies available from a variety of entertainment firms, including Insomniac, Pixar and Disney.

Sony declined to comment on the game’s release in the rest of the world, though we’re sure that it’ll be around the same time.
