Edge of Reality’s free-to-play multiplayer third-person shooter Loadout will be soon receiving the 1080p and 60 frames per second treatment. This update is a part of Phase One which is planned to go live next month, Edge of Reality’s Jason Heitman confirmed to GamingBolt in a recent interview.
“We couldn’t make this at launch but it is planned to be part of Phase One Update in February,” he said to GamingBolt. We also asked whether the PS4 version of Loadout will receive updates and patches around the same time as the PC version. Unfortunately that won’t happen due to manpower issues but they plan to get it done eventually.
“Due to manpower [shortage], we can’t accommodate both at the same time, so we move through phases on each platform. The goal is to get Phase One out on PS4 and catch PC up in one blow. From there, it’s possible the two platforms function as different experiences due to the desires of each community.”
GamingBolt’s Oliver VanDervoort reviewed the PS4 version back in December last year and found Loadout to be a fun-filled game with tons of customization options. The game is now available on the PS4 and Xbox One.
