CI Games has officially unveiled Lords of the Fallen 2 in a new cinematic trailer during the Gamescom 2025 Opening Night Live event. We didn’t really get much in the way of gameplay, but it did offer glimpses at how the studio is going to expand on the narrative foundations laid by 2023’s Lords of the Fallen. Check out the trailer below.
The trailer goes quite heavy on the Lightbearer’s role as the vanguard against the encroaching darkness, and how their fall likely also means that the world at large will have dire consequences. While the Umbra seemed fairly small-scale in the original, it’s seemingly ventured out of control in the 100 years since.
The first showcase of gameplay for Lords of the Fallen 2 is slated for later this year, so stay tuned. The title is being developed for PC as an Epic Games Store exclusive, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
