NowGamer recently got in touch with executive producer Tamosz Gop and creative director Jan Klose, who are working on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 RPG Lords Of The Fallen, at E3 2013. The duo talked about the power of next generation consoles and what can currently be achieved that wasn’t previously possible.

Klose stated that, “There’s a lot we can do. First of all, is the visual presentation. Like, the pyrotechs that you saw, We want to improve on that quite a lot because we can now really use particles that are physically simulated.

“It’s much easier if you have more bandwidth to do this. You don’t have the limitations that you normally have where you had to say ‘okay, here we cut down on AI’ or cut down on details or whatever. We’re free to use whatever we want to do this and that is a great thing.”

Lords of the Fallen will be out in 2014.
