Today was the day we were supposed to get our first look at the latest game in the ongoing football series, Madden NFL 21. But well, it seems that life has gotten in the way somewhat. The reveal trailer was supposed to go live later in the day, but that will no longer happen due to certain real life events that are going on.
EA put out an official statement via the official Madden Twitter, which you can see below. Due to mounting protests and riots going on in the US right now, the company has decided to push the game’s official reveal to a later date. If you aren’t familiar with what’s going on, we won’t get into details since that isn’t our wheelhouse, but you can check various national news coverage for more information. Regardless of what you think, and I imagine this one will bring a flood of comments of a certain variety no doubt, a lot of people probably aren’t too interested in seeing the reveal just yet.
Madden NFL 21 will release sometime this August for most major platforms. No word was given on when to expect the reveal. The game will also come not long after EA and NFL extended their partnership for six more years.
