While the world has, by and large, been without live sports for several months now, the virtual sports world moves on. EA and the NFL are set to renew their partnership for at least 5 more years, and this year’s Madden is still slated to come on time no matter if physical players are back in stadiums or not. And it looks like we’ll get our first look at that next month.

EA announced via their official YouTube that the game will get its “First Look” trailer at the very beginning of June. The feed is live now displaying the date. We only saw a very small snippet from the game during one of Microsoft’s Xbox Series X events, where the limited Smart Delivery between it and the Xbox One version was detailed. EA Play is scheduled for June 11th, so most likely we’ll only get a brief taste on the 1st.

Madden NFL 21 is slated to come out in August for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC. The cover athlete also let it slip that he would be on the cover, which you can read all about through here.
