While Mafia 3 has been on the market for quite a while now, the title is finally going to be getting its first expansion pack next month. The developers had actually announced the the DLC would be coming in March, but now we have an official release date. The real question is whether or not the disappointment over the release of the full game is going to be too much to overcome when it comes to selling the DLC.
Coming on March 28, the first DLC is titled Faster Baby! and brings a couple of new features along with the new story. There is a new character as well who is named Roxie and will accompany Lincoln on the adventure. There is also a new environment, known as Sinclair Parish, as opposed to New Bordeaux in the original story. Other new features include:
- You can now slow down time while driving
- You can now throw explosives from your car, both behind or ahead of you
- New explosive type: proximity mines
- Two new vehicles
- Two new outfits
- New Activity called “Herbalism” which takes place with the new character MJ. The new activity gives you the opportunity to grow your criminal empire
