The first Mafia holds a special place in the hearts of series fans, and is probably the only game in the trilogy that is, without reservations, and excellent game unhampered by any major issues. Soon, Hangar 13 will be taking players for another trip through Lost Heaven, and at the PC Gaming Show, we received another look at the upcoming remake.
In addition to a story trailer, there was also an interview with the developers, who revealed some interesting details about Mafia: Definitive Edition. Apparently, every little inch of the entire game has been completely remade, from the cinematics to the maps to the gameplay itself. While the larger story beats have been kept intact, the remake expands upon the original in various ways. For instance, Hangar 13 have redesigned Lost Heaven so that it is more fun to drive around the city (while being chased by cops), while we can also expect the streets to be a bit more crowded.
You can check out the story trailer and the interview below.
Mafia: Definitive Edition will be releasing for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on August 28.
