Majesco Entertainment has created a new indie label in the form of Midnight City, and will release two new indie games to celebrate. These include Beast Game’s Avalanche 2: Super Avalanche, which is set to optimized for Steam in late Q1 2014, and Blood of the Werewolf which will arrive on Xbox 360 and on the PlayStation Network in Q2 2014.

Avalanche 2: Super Avalanche will see players take on the role of a bouncy marshmallow creatures who moves upwards past procedurally generated items and blocks. Why? Well, we’re not sure but there will be 70,000 combinations of power-ups for the marshmallow to take advantage of.

That means jumping higher, running faster and other skills like double jump. There will also be randomly generated bosses which will vary depending on the platform you pick the game up on. Though we know it will be arriving on Xbox 360, a PSN release indicates that it could be on PS Vita and/or PS3/PS4 as well.

Blood of the Werewolf, which already released on Steam for PC this past Halloween, is heading to consoles. New console versions means new content such as “Endless Challenge” which sees you fighting increasingly difficult waves of enemies with limited continues.

You’ll be able to compete with other players worldwide on the leaderboards depending on your success. Meanwhile, the single player sees Selena, a werewolf, who is looking to rescue her son from Victor Frankenstein through 10 levels. Other creatures making an appearance include The Mummy, Jekyll & Hyde and Dracula.

Both games are platformers in their own ways and feature their own snazzy styles. A set of new screenshots has been released for both games, which you can check out below. What are your thoughts on both these games and will you be interested in picking them up on release? Let us know in the comments.
