Mario Golf: World Tour’s Season Pass and corresponding DLC packs have been detailed by Nintendo, which add new courses, characters and more.
The Season Pass includes three packs: The Mushroom Pack, which will be out on May 2nd; the Flower Pack out in May; and the Star Pack which is out in June. Each includes two 18 hole courses. New characters include Toadette, Nabbit and Rosalina, with each pack retailing for $5.99. The Season Pass will retail for $14.99 starting on May 2nd and will offer Gold Mario as a playable character on purchase. Gold Mario has the advantage of the Golden Flower shot which gains coins for each yard travelled. If you don’t want the Season Pass, then Gold Mario will be out after all the above packs have released.
Nintendo of America’s executive VP of Sales & Marketing Scott Moffitt stated that, “We’re letting fans expand their experience with Mario Golf: World Tour. Some players might be content hitting the links on the numerous courses already included with the game, while others will appreciate the option of being able to add to their fairway fun with new courses and characters.”
