Aside from 10 vehicles available by default, there are an additional 30 vehicles to randomly unlock in Mario Kart World, at 100 coins each, and you will need to grind a great deal before you acquire all of them. On average you can expect to casually collect between 20 and 30 coins per race, which amounts to an average of 120 races to achieve your goal. Coin counts also unlock stickers for various milestones, well beyond the 3000 needed for unlocking all vehicles.

This guide has some of the best ways to quickly and efficiently farm coins for unlocking vehicles (and stickers) in Mario Kart World.

AFK Coin Farming

At a very specific location in Free Roam, you can simply idle your vehicle and rack up coins. Go to Toad’s Factory in central west of the map and look for the conveyor belt systems transporting items and coins. Park at the drop-off point and reap the rewards. At the rate of 1 coin every 4-5 seconds, you will collect 12 coins per minute, or 720 coins per hour. Four odd hours of this should gain you every coin your could possibly need towards unlocking vehicles.

Triple Coin NPC Vehicles

There are a number of NPC vehicles in Free Roam that dispense coins for you to collect. This type in particular has three coins trailing it at any time. Once you collect them, another three will be dispensed after a short interval. Ideally, you will trail this vehicle, accelerating to collect the coins, and braking to maintain some distance for the next three to appear. Avoid colliding with them, as you can and will lose coins from the impact.

These vehicles also appear on the water, if you prefer jet skis to karting on the road.

This method can net you upwards of a hundred coins per minute.

Wind Up NPC Vehicle

This odd looking NPC vehicle with the question mark box in the cabin spits out coins in a continuous stream. You will have your work cut out for you here as the coins are not dispensed in a perfectly straight line, so be prepared to veer left and right. As a relatively rare vehicle, be sure to latch on to it if and when you see it, and perhaps even grind out the entirety of your goal in one sitting.

At roughly two coins dispensed per second, you can expect to collect over a hundred coins per minute with this method as well.

Coin Stack Piles

These large drops of coins spawn all over Free Roam and eventually respawn. While quitting and reloading the game can make them reappear instantly, this is somewhat tedious and should only really be used as a time filler or quick injection of coins towards a particular goal.

Those are all the best ways to farm coins fast for unlocking vehicles and stickers in Mario Kart World.
