The Nintendo Switch has had a string of great releases in 2022 so far, and it still has a number of major exclusives coming up in the next few months. One of those that has caught the eye of many is Ubisoft’s turn-based tactics sequel Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hopewhich is looking like a promising follow-up to its acclaimed predecessor. Ahead of its launch in October, Nintendo has now revealed details on the game’s Gold Edition and its Season Pass as well.

Pre-orders for the Gold Edition are now live, Nintendo has confirmed. In addition to the base game, it will also include access to three exclusive weapon skins, as well as the Season Pass.

Specific details on what the Season Pass will entail aren’t yet known, but the Gold Edition’s eShop page says players can look forward to “additional story content featuring new heroes, quests, and battles” where post-launch support is concerned. Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle received a pretty hefty post-launch expansion in Donkey Kong Adventure, so hopefully Ubisoft and Nintendo have similar plans for the sequel as well.

The Gold Edition costs $89.99, though there’s no word on what the Season Pass’ separate price will be, or if it will be purchasable separately.

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is due out for the Nintendo Switch on October 20.
