Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope Will Take You on an Intergalactic Journey in 2022

The leaked sequel has now been officially announced, and will take players on a galaxy-spanning journey with several familiar characters.

First leaked yesterday, and then again today by Nintendo themselvesMario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope has finally been officially unveiled. Ubisoft highlighted the turn-based tactics title at their E3 2021 Ubisoft Forward show, setting the stage for the game’s story and providing brief hints for its gameplay.

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is expanding its scope, and instead of just the Mushroom Kingdom, this time, you’ll be exploring entire galaxies. As you travel from planet to planet, you’ll run into various different kinds of threats, and will be facing off against a new villain. All the while, you’ll be rescuing Sparks, which is what is created when Lumas and Rabbids conjoin. Meanwhile, new combat options and actions are also being added, while Rabbidified characters like Rosalina are also confirmed. Check out its reveal trailer and a brief gameplay sneak peak below.

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope will launch exclusively for the Nintendo Switch some time in 2022.
