Mario sports aficionados take note – a new Mario Tennis title is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on February 12th, 2026. Mario Tennis Fever will retail for $69.99 and incorporates some of the Wonder Flower effects from Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Check out the first trailer below.

Boasting a roster of 38 characters, which is the largest yet, the other new mechanic is Fever Rackets. By building up the Fever Gauge, players can activate Fever Shots with various effects, whether it’s shrinking opponents or creating a shadow clone.

The available modes include Tournament Mode with play-by-play commentary, Trials Towers with various objectives and Mix it Up Mode, where the Wonder Effects come into play. There’s also a new Adventure Mode set on a deserted island with Mario and friends turned into babies and having to contend with various threats.

Casual and competitive Ranked Matches are available in online multiplayer, and players can adjust the rules for the former as they see fit. Stay tuned for a deeper dive into everything that Mario Tennis Fever has to offer in the coming months.
