Mario+Rabbids: Kingdom Battle Is Getting A Competitive Multuplayer Mode In Free Update

Kingdom versus battle.

Posted By | On 07th, Dec. 2017

Ubisoft will be adding a competitive multiplayer mode to their surprise hit crossover strategy game Mario+Rabbids: Kingdom Battle tomorrow in a brand new free update, they announced today. Versus mode will take the game’s mechanics, and test their mastery of them.

Players’ actions per turn will be limited, unlike in the PvE modes- but the maps will be littered with boxes containing tickets that allow for additional actions per turn, making them act, no doubt, as control points for games. You will also have to pick from premade loadouts for yourself.

The mode will be playable locally- for now, there is no online support, much like with the co-op modes, though who knows if online functionality will be added later? But for those of you who enjoyed playing Kingdom Battle with friends, now there’s an additional mode for you to try out- check out a video for it below. Mario+Rabbids: Kingdom Battle is available exclusively on the Nintendo Switch.
