Following up on our report a few days ago, Jos Hendriks, a designer at Bioware has revealed further information about the next Mass Effect or Mass Effect 4. After playing a developer build of the game, he teased more information about that fantastic little bouncy tank, The Mako.

Jos has confirmed that the new Mako is “nimbler than the old Mako” but “in a good way.” That’s fine with me given that my friends and I loved roaming the planets we discovered in the tank that’s comparable only to a bouncy ball with cannon attached. Speaking of roaming around planets, Jos also said that you’ll need to do some “thinking and exploring to get to certain structures.”

This is all pointing towards a bigger and more complex world than initially suggested to us. And I’m ok with that. He also teased fans that he “saw a couple more cool things” that he “can’t really detail right now.” The next Mass Effect has no current released date but it’s expected to arrive sometime in 2016 on PC and current gen consoles.
