Mass Effect Andromeda Update 1.07 Is Now Out, Fixes SOS Quest Crash

A relatively minor update, but it still makes some important fixes.

Posted By | On 19th, May. 2017

After the really substantive update 1.06 for Mass Effect Andromeda that was released last week, Bioware and EA have released update 1.07 this week. This one is a lot smaller, basically ‘just a hotfix’, according to Bioware’s Michael Gamble. However, it comes in at a still hefty 875MB.

While the official patch notes are not descriptive, Gamble says that the update makes the Athletic outfit available mid-playthrough, fixes a crash with the SOS quest, and fixes the UI placement at resolutions higher than 1080p.

You can also check out full patch notes for this update, courtesy of EA, for yourself below. Mass Effect Andromeda is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

  • Fixed issue where server would auto disconnect when sending strike teams on APEX missions.
  • Fixed a crash on UNC Outlaw when nearing outpost of signal source. (Kadara S.O.S.)
  • The Athletic Casual Outfit will now unlock for all entitled players (Deluxe edition content)
  • Fixed an issue which prevented completion of the Nomad upgrades / Shield Crafting quest. Please travel back to the Tempest in order to trigger completion.
