Rockstar has announced that Max Payne Mobile will be heading to iOS on Thursday, April 12th, and the Android version will be available two weeks later on April 26th.

The game is optimized on the iOS and Android platforms and features HD graphics, high-resolution textures, Social Club connectivity and user-customizable controls. You can check out the screenshots below for proof, it really does look great.

The game will support a plethora of iOS devices like: iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod Touch 4, iPad 1, iPad 2 and the new iPad. No Android devices were listed as of now, but you can be sure it runs on all the latest ones.

Max Payne was originally developed by Remedy and the IP now belongs to Rockstar. The latest instalment in the franchise, Max Payne 3, will be heading to the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC next month.
