MechWarrior 5 Mercenaries

Piranha Games’ MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is chugging and the developer has released a new trailer, highlighting what everyone wants to see a massive mech do – destroy everything. Check out the trailer below.

Along with taking down other military units like tanks and choppers, the mechs are capable of destroying different buildings. One particularly awesome moment sees a mech dropped directly on top of a tank, crushing it to death. The mechs themselves take their fair share of damage and it’s not strange to see arms blow off in the middle of battle.

MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is the long-awaited sequel to the classic franchise. Along with four player co-op, it will feature a less linear campaign that focuses on running one’s own company of mercenaries, fighting for whichever House they so choose. It’s out in December 2018 for PC but in the meantime, you can check also check out Harebrained Schemes’ BattleTech, a turn-based strategy title based on the same universe.
