Piranha Games has announced that free to play, multiplayer mech simulator MechWarrior Online has received some new updates. This includes the Canyon Map, which brings new avenues for ambushing opponents and sniping, besides the usual hit and run tactics.

It also has a new mech of the month – specifically the OH MY! Blackjack, which has four variants with matching patterns available for 50 percent off, features a ballistic hardpoint on each arm and four energy hardpoints, along with four jump jets and powerful melee capabilities.

The Jenner JRC-F, which provides a 10 percent XP boost for each match, has also been added to the Champion Mech line-up, and if that weren’t enough, new Cobra Camo patterns, Faction Medallions and a new challenge event with Medium vs. The World have also been announced for May 24th.

Both mechs are currently available, with details regarding the Medium vs. The World challenge event available at the official site.
