Media Create software sales are out for the week of September 15th to September 21st, detailing the sale of games in Japan for that period. Surprising no one, Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. on the 3DS sold 321,263 units and occupied the top spot for the second week in a row. What’s surprising is that the game has already crossed the 1 million units mark, selling 1,266,008 units since its release on September 13th.

Yokai Watch 2: Ganso/Honke has also been doing phenomenally well since releasing in July – it sold 56,380 units and has already notched up an impressive 2,525,591 units sold thus far. Bayonetta 2 debuted in third place this week for the Wii U and managed to sell 38,828 units. Honestly? We were expecting better but at least it hasn’t outright collapsed like The Wonderful 101, Platinum Games’ previous Wii U release.

Destiny has managed to sell 18,396 units and 13,014 units on the PS3 and PS4 in the past week respectively, with more than 171,000 units sold since its launch in Japan.
