Media Molecule Looking To Hire Small Teams To Create Dreams Content

"Needless to say experience with creating in Dreams is required," says the developer.

Media Molecule is really doubling down on the viability of Dreams as a full-fledged creation suit for the creative types everywhere. Allowing users monetize their content is something that’s already been a conversation for a while, but as a nice little move, the studio recently also put up an update on its site, in which it announced that it was looking for content creation teams with experience in creating in Dreams help them create more content for the game.

Media Molecule is looking for small dev teams “looking to collaborate on something larger or looking for a small project to help fund [their] next gig.” It would be a contract position, and the studio says that it isn’t outsourcing, but instead “much more about finding teams that want to collaborate with us on content for Dreams.” By the studio’s admission, requirements for job applicants aren’t set in stone, since this is more an “exploratory call”- that said, they also clarify that “experience with creating in Dreams is required.”

The studio is asking applicants to send in portfolios, demos, or reels of things they’ve created in Dreams, and encourages all applicants to “think creatively, to play with new technology, and jam on individual ideas.”

Considering all the stuff we’ve already seen being made in Dreams which is currently in Early Access – I imagine there’d be plenty of talented creators out there this would be perfect for. From a remake of Final Fantasy 7 Remaketo recreations of Dead Space and P.T.to a completely new FPS with some seriously impressive visuals, we’ve seen people cooking up some cool looking stuff in Media Molecule’s toolset.
