Media Molecule Teases New PS4 Project With Bizarre Colourful Imagery

Media Molecule is one of those companies that bestows a sense of wonder with each game it creates, from LittleBigPlanet to Tearaway. However, it’s also shrouded its efforts in a fair bit of mystery. An unannounced PS4 project – which we’re still not sure was teased during the console’s initial reveal in February 2013 – is in development and Media Molecule shared a teaser for the same.

Actually, it’s not quite a teaser. An artist had a rendering error that resulted in frames of nonsensical colour. Seeing the appeal in it, Media Molecule slapped on some music and posted it online. The developer also said that if you remember the initial tech demo from last year, then a “familiar face” will be spotted. Quite.

Media Molecule is also busy working on LittleBigPlanet 3 for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, which will be out this November. What are your thoughts on this trippy teaser though? Let us know in the comments.
