7) The samurai game we always wanted:

Who doesn’t want to hack and slash things and run at a lightning fast pace. Well guess what? This game will allow you to do that. It will also feature solid gameplay mechanics considering the studio behind the game, which guarantees that this is the Samurai game we’ve always wanted. Of course, Raiden is not actually a Samurai but hey, Cyborg + a sword and fast moves = Samurai in my book.

8) ‘Cut anything’ gameplay mechanic:

Rising allows gamers to chop things in a bunch of ways. Buildings, cars, soliders, helicopters and… watermelons, you name it. You can cut them as much as you desire. This is one of the unique mechanics behind the game and it’s something that a lot of gamers will enjoy using. In fact, this is one of the most fun mechanics we’ve seen in a long time especially in an action game.

9) Lots of interesting characters:

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance features a lot of interesting characters. From unique bosses to robotic dogs as side kicks. Don’t believe us? Check out the video below. It will show you how much work is being put into the game. Yes, it’s a bit cheesy but hey it’s the gameplay that counts.

10) Franchise potential:

Platinum Games will be motivated to create a stunning game because let’s face it, this game has great franchise potential. Recently Kojima had mentioned that if Rising does well, they will create another game, which should please Platinum as well it will be something that will reach a lot of people and it’s totally in their territory considering the type of game it is.
