Metal Gear Rising Revengeance Demo: Konami Provides Pointers on Beating the Bladewolf

Can we get a "That was awesome" chant going?

Those who picked up Zone of the Enders HD Collection would have had the chance to partake in a demo to Platinum Games’ long awaited Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. And besides providing a great look into the game’s mechanics, it also best showcased the game’s hyper-fighting in the battle with LQ-84i or the Bladewolf. Nothing too big – he’s just a mechanized wolf with a razor sharp tail that can manipulate a chainsaw mounted on his head.

And while no doubt there have been gamers to put him on the endangered species list, Konami has released their own video detailing the best ways to beat down Bladewolf. Aside from blocking at the right times, using the right combinations of heavy and light attacks, and slicing him into pieces at the very end, we’d say it’s pretty straightforward. But it’s still an awesome look into the fast-paced mechanics of the game, which will release for PS3 and XBox 360 in February 2013.
