Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Videos Feature Weapons, Cyborg Troops

Get to know your weapons and who to use them on in these new trailers.

Platinum Games has released not one but two new action-packed videos for the upcoming Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, releasing on February 19th for Xbox 360 and PS3 in North America.

The first video is a showcase for Raiden’s weaponry, a total of seven blades for various functions. For example, the High Frequency blade is the default, quick slashing weapon while the Stun Blade can be used to incapacitate enemies.

The Armour Breaker blade is best for heavy enemies, and there’s even a machete to go with the authentic civilian disguise aka sombrero.

The second video, on the other hand, shows you the basic enemies you’ll be up against. These include normal Cyborg Troops, who don’t know they’re outmatched. Cyborg Cops with stun batons and riot shields.

Custom Cyborgs that match up to Raiden more readily; and Heavy Cyborgs that wield large hammers for bashing Raiden to a pulp (take a guess how that pans out).
