Check out this guide for Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes. Using this guide you will be able to find collectibles like XOF patches, Chico’s tapes/recordings, Unlock Jamais Vu and Déjà Vu missions, unlock all trials, complete each of the missions with ‘S’ rank, find the escaped prisoner in the Ground Zeroes mission, find agent’s recording/tape, and unlock trophies and achievements in the game.

All XOF Patches Locations:

There are nine XOF patches in the game. If you collect all of them you will be able to unlock Déjà Vu mission featuring Solid Snake for PS3/PS4 versions or Jamais Vu mission featuring Raiden for Xbox One/Xbox 360 versions. The video below gives you the locations of all the XOF Patches:

How To Unlock Jamais Vu or Déjà Vu mission:

Chico Cassette Tapes Locations and Agent’s Recording Collectibles:

Chico Cassette Tapes:

There are seven Chico Cassette tapes in the game. You can find all of them using the guide below. Further more, you can also find the other 5 cassette tapes using the same video below.

Agent’s recording/tape:

You will earn the Agent’s recording/tape when you complete the Classified Intel Acquisition mission. See the ‘How To Earn ‘S’ Ranking In All Missions’ guide below.

How To Earn ‘S’ Ranking In All Missions:

Jamais Vu or Déjà Vu mission: [Jamais Vu’s video is not for S-rank but it should give you a good indication on how to achieve one]

Finding the escaped prisoner and extracting him:

There is a prisoner in the Ground Zeroes mission. Your mission is to capture and extract him. This will unlock the Rescue trophy/achievement.

Trials Guide:

Trials are challenges that the player can complete in each of the missions. Let’s take a look:

Ground Zeroes Mission has two trial variations:

Normal

  • Fastest marking of all enemies
  • Fastest Neutralizing of all enemies

Hard

  • Fastest Completion Time
  • Fastest Completion Time (with stealth and no kills)
  • Fastest Completion Time (with no weapons used)
  • Fastest Prisoner Cell to Chopper Paz Rescue

Eliminate the renegade threat has two variations:

Normal

  • Fastest marking of all enemies
  • Fastest Neutralizing of all enemies

Hard

  • Fastest Completion Time
  • Fastest Completion Time (with stealth and no kills)
  • Fastest Completion Time (with no weapons used)
  • Fastest Target Extraction

Intel Operative Rescue has two variation:

Normal

  • Fastest Neutralizing of all enemies

Hard

  • Fastest Completion Time
  • Fastest Shooting of all Moai

Classified Intel acquisition:

Normal

  • Fastest marking of all enemies
  • Fastest Neutralizing of all enemies

Hard

  • Fastest Completion Time
  • Fastest Completion Time (with stealth and no kills)
  • Fastest Completion Time (with no weapons used)
  • Fastest Acquisition of second tape.

Destroy the Anti-Air emplacements:

Normal

  • Fastest marking of all enemies
  • Fastest Neutralizing of all enemies

Hard

  • Fastest Completion Time
  • Fastest Completion Time (with stealth and no kills)
  • Fastest Completion Time (with no weapons used)
  • Fastest Acquisition of second tape.

Jamais Vu:

Normal

  • Fastest marking all enemies
  • Fastest Neutralizing of all Enemies
  • Fastest Collection of all Mines
  • Fastest Extermination of all Crows
  • Fastest Unlocking of all doors

Hard

  • Fastest Completion Time
  • Fastest Completion Time (with stealth and no kills)
  • Fastest Erasing of all Markings
  • Fastest Completion of FOX Logos
  • Fastest Extermination of all Rodents

Overall Trial Records:

  • Longest Range headshot
  • Longest range headshot with tranquilizer
  • Farthest distance enemy sent flying
  • Fastest destruction of wooden watch-towers

Achievements/Trophy Guide:

Using the guide below you will be unlock all the trophies and achievements in the game.

Reunion: Rescue Chico and Paz.

Downfall: Clear the main Ground Zeroes mission.

Genesis: Complete a Side Op or Extra Op to unlock this trophy/achievement.

Accomplished: Finish the main story, side and extra ops.

Skilled: Complete any mission with ‘S’ Ranking. Refer the S-Ranking guide above.

Hero: Complete all missions with an ‘S’ ranking. Refer the S-Ranking guide above.

Rescue: In the “Ground Zeroes” mission, rescued the escaped prisoner and extract him via helicopter. See the Rescue Guide above.

Depth: Complete the Eliminate the Renegade Threat Side Op by extracting both targets.

Pacifist: Complete the Intel Operative Rescue Side Op without killing any enemies.

Infiltration: Complete the Classified Intel Acquisition Side Op by escaping in the back of a truck.

Extraction: Rescue and extract all the prisoners in the Destroy the Anti-Air Emplacements Side Op.

Unlocked: Unlock all trials. See Trials Guide above.

Information: Collect all of the Cassette Tapes. See ‘Chico Cassette Tapes Locations’ guide above.

Insignia: Collect all of the X.O.F. Patches. See ‘All XOF Patches Locations’ guide above.

Hidden: Complete the Jamais Vu Extra Op with 0 enemy combat statuses. [for Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions only]

Reminiscence: Recreate all scenes in the Deja Vu Extra Op. See respective guide above. [for PS4 and PS3 versions only]
