An interesting reward.

A new FOB event for Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain will be launching on all platforms, and in all regions, and you can get yourself a wormhole generator if you get an S rank or above in it. Or well, you get a blueprint for it anyway. This is… an interesting reward, that’s for sure.

Wormholes function as a quick recovery mechanism for recruits in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, like a more efficient fultoning system, one less dependent on things such as weather, for instance. Metal Gear, and even Phantom Pain, has been known to completely break realism for some ridiculous antics in the past, so this is in keeping with the series’ tone and traditions, at the very least. It should make populating the Mother Base a whole lot easier, that’s for sure.

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is available on the Xbox 360, the Xbox One, the PlayStation 3, the PlayStation 4, and PC.
