A little while back, we reported on the potential release windows for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain in 2015 thus far and told you about the frustration that Snake’s Japanese voice actor is feeling around the lack of game’s release date announcement.

Well it has come to light, through the NeoGAF forums, that Konami employee Tora Shiro is also feeling bothered about not being able to announce the release date. “Not being able to announce a release date is just as annoying on our side. HQ gonna HQ a little longer,” he said on NeoGaf, possibly hinting that the final decision lies with Konami Japan. However he did confessed that he knows more than he is supposed to know, again hinting that the release date has been possibly finalized.

Other GAF users expressed sympathy and understanding for Shiro’s situation, to which he said, “To be fair, it’s no longer waiting on people, it’s more like just coming to an agreement on the details. We operate on a global scale, you know.”

Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain is due sometime this year for the PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
