Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain Release Date Possibly Hinted By Kojima

Fans left grasping at straws in the wake of no date having been announced

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain Release Date

This week saw Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain’s big appearance at The Game Awards 2014, which showcased the game’s online multiplayer component, Metal Gear Online 3.  Well appear it did and with a great demonstration of the game’s online multiplayer suite to help keep fans on edge, hoping and pleading for any details about the games release date.

But sadly they never came. Instead, hints were possibly given. It’s nothing concrete, but the shirt worn by Hideo Kojima at TGA 2014, once translated from its Swedish text, reads “22nd and the 6th”.

This could of course mean June 22nd. Typically, everything Kojima does is accompanied by some insane person’s logic, this however just seems to straight forward to be legitimate if his past works are anything to go by. But what do you think? Shout out in the comments section.
