Konami is conducting a press review event for Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain at their LA office for the last few days. Several journalist attended the event and Konami allowed them to reveal new information from the game. Please note that a couple of them also revealed possible spoilers so we will make sure not to list them here.

First of all, players should expect a ton of surprises right from the beginning of The Phantom Pain, in short expect the unexpected. Another journalist stated that “literally nothing is what it seems” and The Phantom Pain “will throw everyone for a loop.” The game will drop you into some heavy plot lines right off the bat. Furthermore, Big Boss can also shoot while riding on a horse or a vehicle, a detail that was never revealed before.

On a related note, if you have multiple codes for Bonus XP, only the first code will apply. The official twitter feed for MGO confirmed that there is no XP stack. Furthermore, Robert Allen, community manager of Konami revealed that the game will occupy 5500 MB HDD Install on the Xbox 360. He also plans to draft up a Steam post regarding the PC version and related AMD announcements following the revelation that the PC version won’t be available for pre-load.

Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain launches this September on the PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
