#9. METAL GEAR 2: SOLID SNAKE

Metal Gear 2’s post-credits sequence is certainly much more substantial than its predecessor’s, with the majority of it being focused on wrapping up the game’s lingering lose ends, but in the grand scheme of things, nothing of consequence happens. You do get some interesting beats with Solid Snake refusing to rejoin FOXHOUND, but the vast majority of what the sequence focuses on doesn’t end up having much bearing on future instalments’ stories.
