Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain

Kojima may be gone, but Metal Gear Solid V will continue to be milked by Konami for as long as is possible. The proof of that? The award winning soundtrack to the game (Metal Gear Solid V won the Best Soundtrack award at The Game Awards this year) will be released in an extended format later this week by Konami- available to buy and download exclusively from iTunes. So if you were looking to own a physical disc, maybe for collection purposes, well, that sucks- you’re out of luck on that one.

With that said, this is still good news- The Phantom Pain has an incredible soundtrack, and anything that makes listening to it uninterrupted easier is a good thing in my books. The soundtrack will be getting a release on western iTunes stores as well, so don’t worry about not being able to buy it.

Metal Gear Solid V is available now for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
