Posted By | On 15th, Oct. 2012

In anticipation of Metro: Last Light’s 2013 launch, THQ has announced that Metro 2033 will be sold on Xbox live Arcade for 50 per cent off so that players who haven’t played it yet can get their hands on it.

This goes in effect on October 16th and will be a limited time offer, ending on October 22nd. The game will be sold for £5.49.

Metro 2033 released back in 2010 to plenty of critical acclaim and is considered a cult hit amongst fans. We gave it a 9/10 in our review, and praised it for its great graphics, solid combat and immersion, while calling it out for its stupid AI and clunky controls. You can read the entire review through the link above.

Metro 2033 is based on a novel of the same name by acclaimed Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky, and its sequel comes out next year. Stay tuned for more updates.
