The return of the Microsoft Flight Simulator series is quite something. Not only does it signal a new direction for the company in reviving one of its classic simulation franchises, it’s just a damn gorgeous game to look at. Seriously, it might be one of the most purely beautiful games you’ll ever gaze on. Don’t believe me? Well, some new videos are here to prove it.

In a series of development videos, the many vistas you’ll be flying over get showcased. We’ve already seen the snowy hilltops, but here we get a little taste of everything, from Aspen to Baltimore to Lake Tekapo. We also get to see a Diamond DA62 coming for approach and a Robin DR400 in a hangar for a spice of variety. There’s more too, and it’s just an incredible thing that you need to check out below.

Microsoft Flight Simulator will launch some time this year for both Xbox One and PC.
