Microsoft Game Room Details & Release Date

Posted By | On 17th, Feb. 2010

The Microsoft Game Room is much like an old style arcade, only it’s a virtual place to play arcade games with you and your friends Avatars.  It is free to download but you will have to pay to play the games.

One time play – 40 Microsoft Points
Purchase full game – 240 Microsoft Points
Purchase full game with cross platform access (Xbox & PC) – 400 Microsoft Points

The launch titles will be limited and the games are generally targeted more toward the old original arcade titles such as Pac-Man, among others.  If you have already purchased an arcade title that is available in the Game Room you will have to purchase it again to play it in the Game Room.  It will be available for Windows PC  (Games for Windows) and through the Xbox 360 on March 24th.
